Mortlake Car Rally
The banks of Tea Tree Lake will become a haven for car lovers, with the Federation for Veteran, Vintage and Classic Cars holding its annual Mortlake picnic.
Owners from around the Western District, and as far afield as Ballarat and Geelong will converge on Mortlake displaying beneath the picturesque trees.
From classic clunkers to early 20th century contraptions, there will be a wide variety of collectables on display, including, roadsters, pick-up trucks, soft-tops and sedans.

Cobden SWDRS Rally
This is the 50th anniversary of the South West District Restoration Society’s annual steam rally! The band has been a part of this event for many years, and hope to continue our involvement for many years to come.
The band will be playing 2 sets - from 11:00 until 11:45, and then from 12:30 until 1:15 or thereabouts. We’ll have a wide variety of car related tunes, fun recognisable tunes that you can bop along to and some Aussie classics!
Cobden Carols
The Carols by Candlelight event is a community tradition and is expected to feature a variety of Christmas carols, including opportunities for audience participation.
Awards Night
The band gives out awards annually to our well-deserving members, as a way of acknowledging achievements and hard work at the end of the year.
Camperdown Traders Festival
The Camperdown Traders market following the Carols is not one to miss, with the songs of the band echoing through the various stalls and bringing Christmas cheer!
Camperdown Carols by Candlelight
The Camperdown Carols by Candlelight is one of the longest running Carols events in Victoria outside Melbourne and has been spreading Christmas cheer since 1949. The Lakes & Craters Band has been involved for the last several years, working closely with Toby McKenzie and his choir.
Noorat Carols
Christmas carols located at the gorgeous Presbytarian Church in Noorat. If the weather permits, we will experience a magical evening out in the gardens with a good singalong celebration of Christmas! If the weather is less kind, we’ll hide from the rain inside the church and make a mighty sound anyway! And, the evening tea afterwards is worth it.
General Meeting
The band holds 4 general meetings across the period of a year to bring important issues to the table with the whole band.

Camperdown Show
The band plays every year at the annual Camperdown Show! Lots of fun for everyone, with great live music.
